The special compositions of flaxseed as omega-3 fatty acids and lignin's (natural hormones that block the action of bad estrogens that cause breast cancer) have long identified this food supplement as one of the most popular superfood.

It is advisable to take flax seeds only in crushed form, since whole seeds are not digested in the stomach. The seeds should be consumed immediately after grinding due to their rapid oxidation in air and high content of flaxseed oil.

Flax seeds can be added to many common foods. For example:

- into water as part of daily fluid intake

-in cereals, oatmeal, yoghurts, kefir, cottage cheese, salads or sandwiches

- in cookies, muffins, bread or other pastries

- into meat cutlets

- as a substitute for eggs in baked goods. Just one tablespoon of flaxseed flour mixed with three tablespoons of water equals one chicken egg

- in a blender when making smoothies. High in fiber and healthy fats, you feel fuller for longer

Achieve your goals with a follow-up that suits you!
