The experience of growing up with gastrointestinal distress encouraged my study of nutrition from an early age, and from that grew my passion for helping others achieve health and wellness goals.  Whether you suffer from food or environmental allergies, have a complicated relationship with food and your body, have a medical need to establish different eating patterns, struggle over how to get healthy food (or any food!) into your child or just want to feel more energetic, I'm looking forward to delving deep with you to find solutions.

After completing a Masters degree focused on the prevention and treatment of pediatric obesity, I spent over 10 years working in Pediatric and Adult Weight Management and Women's Health with Kaiser Permanente.  I designed program curriculum and oversaw and taught weight management programs while working with adults, adolescents and families to develop positive eating habits.

In my private practice I focus on creating an intuitive, mindful relationship with food. I use a compassionate, weight-inclusive approach to help you develop the skills to trust your body and to reduce shame and guilt. I work with clients struggling with disordered eating of all types.  Ultimately, my hope is that you will walk away with a peaceful and empowered relationship with food and your body.
