Do I need a Dietitian?

Tuesday, April 16, 2024

Let's clarify a few things:

Do you need a dietitian to create a menu and dietary strategy? Yes. Do you need a dietitian to adopt a diet primarily composed of natural foods? No.

Is a dietitian necessary for specific information on managing chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and fatty liver? Yes. But do you need one to reduce your daily intake of flour and sugar? No.

Should you consult a dietitian to practice intermittent fasting in a structured manner with specific goals? Yes. But do you need one just to eat when you're hungry? No.

Do you need a dietitian to calculate how much you need to eat to gain lean mass? Yes. Is one needed for using natural fats like pork lard, olive oil, coconut oil, and butter for cooking? No.

Should you see a dietitian to consume predetermined amounts to enhance athletic performance? Yes. But is one required to minimize processed foods in your diet? No.

I always emphasize this point: the inability to eat healthily and naturally, based on hunger and focusing on quality foods, is not due to the lack of access to a dietitian. You don't need to pay for a consultation to understand that vegetables, fruits, eggs, meats, nuts, and olive oil are good for the human body. That's the basics. Just go for it, without fear!

Achieve your goals with a follow-up that suits you!
