When you see models on social media/internet working out and doing leg day, ab day, arm day etc. They can split their bodies up like this because these are usually people that are already fit. Splitting workouts into body parts puts more focus on the muscle, but it makes you burn less calories.
When you are trying to lose weight, your goal should be to burn the most calories you can in a workout. Not the specific type of body part you are working. If I take that same woman and make her do full body workouts she will lose more weight and tone faster. Full body workouts work more muscle groups and burn more calories.
The women I train never workout more than 15 mins now. There is no need. The problem is, people are focusing on workouts instead of putting precision on their nutrition. (This does not mean small meals all day)
By increasing the protein in their diet and letting them choose their own food I can manipulate their macros to work in their favor. No matter what kind of food it is.
