I have always loved food, but it wasn't until my late 20's that I started taking control of it. I had always felt I could be healthier, and I started looking into nutrition and how it works. When I had my children that interest just increased!
I realised that you don't need to have an eating disorder, a medical problem, or to be over weight in order to feel out of control with your food. It can simply be because you don't know what you're doing or where to start. Back then, I didn't really know what to eat or how to prepare it to be healthy, but felt like I should.
I don't believe in diets - they simply DO NOT work. I believe in making sure that you incorporate your favourite foods and drinks into your lives because they make you happy and that's what it's all about! Everything can be enjoyed, in balance. Once you have found your balance, you have effortlessly created your new healthy lifestyle without changing you! No diets, no gimmicks, just a happy, healthy you.
