About me

Nutrition played crucial role throughout my life; I was born and raised in Rome and hence had an early introduction to the Mediterranean diet, which rapidly evolved into a passion for cooking and nourishing myself and others in a holistic and healthful manner. As a teenage professional athlete, I learned about the astonishing effects of well-calibrated nutrition on athletic performance. This solidified my conviction that the nourishment we introduce in our bodies has an essential impact on how we feel and what we can achieve.

In 2012 I moved to the UK and in 2016 began my career in Finance. Working in a large corporation, I soon realized that high pressures environments, extremely long working hours and fatigue can lead to poor nutritional choices, the latter re-enforced by the limited availability of healthy meal options and misinformation around food. As a result, I chose to make my passion for Nutrition, Cooking, Sports and Health my lifetime career; I took a deep breath and leaped into a new life. After careful planning, my business partner and I founded Açaí Sisters; a plant-based Superfoods Bar and Yoga Studio located in Central London - I felt that I had been reborn into my true self.

Today I stand before the mirror a renewed woman; I have studied to qualify as a Level 4 Nutrition and Weight Management Adviser and am also working towards my Level 4 Personal Trainer Qualification. My philosophy is to place emphasis on tailoring Nutritional and Exercise plans around individuals: we nourish ourselves to aspire and achieve our personal and professional goals - not the opposite.

I practice limited intake of dairy, refined grains, saturated fat, and sugar. One of my main aims is also to increase my clients' Basal Metabolic Rate and activity levels, in order for them to burn more and eat more. I believe in highly tailored diets combined with constant motivational support: mind over matter will ensure gains.
