I empower you to embrace an abundance mindset and nourish your body with plant-forward eating.

About me

I have always loved food. For me, food fosters connection with others, with culture, and with my own body. I became a dietitian because I recognize the power that food has on an individual's physical and emotional health. As an athlete, I know intimately how optimizing food choices can improve performance. I've also been vegan for over 15 years and understand the social, medical, and environmental impact of food choices. Like so many others, my relationship with food and with my body has not always been healthy, and so I strive to help others break free of diet culture; to let go of shame, guilt, or judgment around their food choices; and to embrace their bodies and what they are capable of irrespective of body size or shape.

I received my B.A. in Anthropology and Global Development Studies from Grinnell College and later went on to complete a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. I completed my dietetic internship through Iowa State University, focusing on technology and health promotion, which included practicing dietetics in rural hospitals and also conducting nutrition research in Ghana. I'm an avid runner and triathlete, as well as parent of two children and two dogs.
